There exits a wide variety of knotless netting with non-square mesh, in nylon or polyester (the latter having a little less stretch than nylon).

Delta type netting has polygonal 6-sided openings. They are excellent for many uses such as nets and seines for fingerlings, bait bags, dip nets, pens, sport nets.
